Customers are responsible for shipping items to us. We recommend using a USPS Flat Rate Box so your knives, scissors, shears, or tools are packed securely and easy to track.
Once your items are sharpened, we will package them safely and ship them back to you. Return shipping is free.
Our mail-order sharpening service is a simple way to get your knives, scissors, shears, and tools sharpened without scheduling an in-person appointment. You ship your items to us, we sharpen them with care, and we send them back ready to use.
How Mail-Order Sharpening Works
1. Pack Your Items Safely
Wrap each item carefully before shipping. Sharp edges should be covered, secured, and protected so they do not move around during transit.
For knives, scissors, shears, and other sharp tools, we recommend using blade guards, cardboard sleeves, heavy paper, bubble wrap, or another protective covering.
2. Ship Your Items to Us
Send your items to our sharpening location. Please include your name, phone number, return mailing address, and a short note listing the items you are sending.
You are responsible for the cost of shipping your items to us.
3. We Sharpen Your Items
Once your package arrives, we inspect your items and sharpen them with care. Each item is handled based on its edge, condition, and intended use.
We sharpen kitchen knives, chef knives, pocket knives, scissors, shears, garden tools, and many common household or professional cutting tools.
4. We Mail Them Back for Free
After sharpening is complete, we carefully package your items and mail them back to you.
Return shipping is free.

- Paring knives
- Pocket knives
- Scissors

Why Use Mail-Order Sharpening?
Mail-order sharpening is a good option when you need a clean, sharp edge but cannot schedule an on-site appointment. It is also helpful for customers outside our regular mobile service area.
A sharp tool works better, cuts cleaner, and is safer to use. Dull blades require more pressure, which can lead to slipping, uneven cuts, and damage to the item being cut.
