Hello, I Am Wolfsbane.
I am a lifelong resident of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in Western North Carolina, and a third-generation professional knife, tool, scissor and shear sharpener.
My business is dedicated to my paternal grandfather. His spirit, work ethic, talent and knowledge inspired me to become a sharpener and a business owner. He worked in research and development for BASF at their Enka Plant for over thirty years. He was a knife maker and an avid fly fisherman.
As a toddler, I spent time in that workshop while he made and sharpened his custom blades. As a teenager I worked at his side as an apprentice, learning to grind bevels, sharpen edges, make handles, and use specialized tools.
A few years ago I started sharpening for family, friends and coworkers. My wife suggested I start charging, and that led to a business plan and to pursuing the dream of owning my own business.
I will always endeavor to provide the best service in everything I do, and to prove that The ReAnimated Edge is where precision comes to life.
